My Dear Mother This woman I know, She is like no other, She's thoughtful, caring and full of Love, She is my dear Mother. With a soft outer shell, Fragile she does appears, Though, it's her strong inner being, I remember through the years. Constantly giving, Seldom does she take, Through hard times and harder times, Peace she seems to make. Her beauty is not hidden, She bears it well for all, It's her strength and endurance, That's subdued until it's called. Always thinking of her family, Concerned for their daily strife, She's always had a special way, To stay so full of life. This woman I know, She is like no other, She's thoughtful, caring and full of Heart, How I Love, my dear Mother. Jonathan Gray |
